Texas Agave Shrimp


  • Olive oil bor butter
  • Shrimp
  • Green onions
  • Jalapenos
  • Cilantro
  • Lime Juice
  • Diced Garlic
  • Railean "El Perico" Blue Agave
  • Cotija Cheese
  • Salt & Pepper


  1. 3 tbs olive oil or butter

    2 lb medium shrimp, peeled & deveined

    1 bunch green onions, chopped

    2 jalapenos, seeded and chopped

    1/2 cup chopped cilantro

    1 tbs lime juice

    ½ - 1 tbs diced garlic

    ½ cup Railean "El Perico" Blue Agave

    ½ cup Cotija cheese crumbled (or shredded Monterey jack)

    Salt & pepper to taste

    Heat butter or olive oil in a sauce pan over medium heat, sauté garlic & jalapenos for just a couple of minutes, add green onions & shrimp, cook shrimp for about 3 minutes, turning once. Add Railean Blue Agave, lime juice, cilantro, salt & pepper. Cook until warm, just a few minutes. Sprinkle cheese over the mixture & serve over rice, pasta, or with corn & flour tortillas.
