Texas Blue Agave Eggnog


  • 6 egg yolks
  • ½ lb powdered sugar
  • ½ bottle Railean “El Perico”
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp orange peel
  • 2 tsp lemon peel
  • 3 ½ cups half & half
  • Nutmeg to taste
  • Cinnamon to taste


  1. Beat egg yolks with a whisk until pale yellow in color, add sugar & half the Railean Blue Agave, mixing well. Let the mixture stand for about an hour, stir in the remaining tequila, vanilla, orange peel, lemon peel and half & half. Pour into a large pitcher and refrigerate overnight (covered). To serve, pour into glasses and garnish with a dash of nutmeg & cinnamon. You can also garnish with a lemon or orange twist.
